Christina and Fred were transported from the caregiver’s home to the community park for their supervised visitation with their mother. The mother called the family support worker facilitating the supervised visitation and stated, “she would about 15 minutes due to traffic”. When the mother arrived to the visitation, she greeted the children warmly.
The children were excited to visit with their mother and hugged, smiled, laughed throughout the visitation. The mother brought the children some Hardy Boy and Judy Blum books for each child. The mother read one of the books to the children and told them to read the books with the caregiver as well during bedtime. The mother hugged the children and told the children many times that she “loves” and “misses them dearly.”
